Bollywood witnessed an unexpected yet humorous clash between two of its biggest stars—Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan. The incident unfolded when Aamir mistakenly referred to Ranbir as ‘Ranbir Singh,’ confusing him with Ranveer Singh. The hilarious moment, which was part of a Dream 11 advertisement, quickly went viral, leaving fans in splits.
What Happened Between Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor?
In a now-viral video, Aamir Khan is seen chatting with Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma at a party when Rishabh Pant approaches him for a photo. Aamir assumes Pant wants a picture with him, only to realize that the cricketer is actually looking for Ranbir Kapoor. Leading to the mix-up, Aamir introduces Ranbir as “Tumhari generation ka sabse bada star, Ranbir Singh.”
On being corrected, Aamir tries to cover up the mistake, saying, “Ek hi baat hai yaar, dono handsome munde hain.” However, Ranbir Kapoor doesn’t let it slide and jokingly tells Hardik Pandya, “Aise kaise Kapoor ko Singh bol diya? Main unko Salman bulaun toh?”
The fun continues when Aamir playfully responds that he wouldn’t mind being called Salman but wouldn’t want to be mistaken for Arbaaz. Right on cue, Arbaaz Khan enters and adds to the humor, saying, “Sohail pe bill phad deta.” The entertaining sequence keeps the lighthearted rivalry alive, making the ad even more engaging.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Witty Response
Ranbir, continuing the joke, remarks, “Saath (60) ke ho gaye hain, sathiya gaye hain. Retire hone bolo unko.” He even takes a playful dig at Aamir, telling Jackie Shroff, “Jalte hain mujhse kyuki voh sirf Khan hain aur main khandaan hoon.” The witty comebacks add fuel to the mock feud, making the Dream 11 campaign a massive hit.
As tensions escalate in the ad, Aamir and Ranbir decide to settle their so-called “rivalry” on the cricket field, setting up an exciting showdown for Dream 11. The advertisement’s clever writing and stellar casting have garnered significant attention, with fans applauding its humor and spontaneity.
