On Saturday, April 26, she posted a picture of herself enjoying a boat ride, but with a twist.
Sharing a set of throwback pictures, Rakul had her followers believe she was off on yet another relaxing weekend getaway. In the photos, the Yaariyan actress appeared to be soaking up the sun on a boat, with a stunning backdrop of endless blue waters. She wore a printed dress featuring a thigh-high slit, paired with stylish sunglasses and a smartwatch. In her caption, Rakul revealed that the trip was just in her “head,” writing, “Weekending here in my head,” followed by a purple heart emoticon.

Rakul’s fans didn’t mind whether the pictures were recent or not and quickly flooded the comment section with compliments for her stunning look. In other news, Rakul, who has been in the film industry for over a decade and a half, recently reflected on her acting journey, contemplating how far she has come and whether she feels settled in her career. The 34-year-old actress, with 45 films to her name, has worked across Bollywood and regional cinema, but she still feels like she’s “just getting started.”
“The day you start thinking in life that I have arrived, or I am good enough — of course, thinking ‘I am good enough’ is different — but when you think, ‘I’m good, and I’m not chasing anything anymore,’ that’s when you become laid-back,” Rakul said during an interview with Subhojit Ghosh.
Expressing her gratitude for all the opportunities she’s received, the actress added, “Yes, I am very grateful for what I have, every moment. But I feel the buck doesn’t stop there. I still have a lot more to do… We often think in one direction — films, acting, being an actor — but there can be so many different dimensions to you.”
Talking about her professional commitments, the 34-year-old actress was last seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi. She is now gearing up for the much-anticipated sequel, De De Pyaar De 2, where she will star alongside Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan.
