Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, who announced their relationship in 2021, tied the knot earlier this week in Goa. The starry yet traditional affair is already winning hearts after the Bollywood couple shared their first pictures on social media. Both Rakul and Jackky are currently in the beachy state and were seen expressing their gratitude towards the warm wishes coming their way from the fraternity. Amid all this, Rakul gave her social media fans a glimpse of the inside wedding moments, especially her vidaai ceremony.
In the video, a thrilled bride Rakul Preet Singh is seen accompanied by a host of her near and dear ones as she makes her way to her marital home ‘symbolically’. The ritual involves her throwing rice/puffed rice, as a way of wishing her family prosperity and wealth. The video was originally posted by a friend of the couple that was later reposted by the bride.

For the unversed, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani tied the knot at ITC Grand Resort & Spa in Arossim, which was also attended by many of their celebrity friends. Post the lavish affair, producer Nickky Bhagnani, who is also the cousin to the groom, took to his social media to share a photo with the newlyweds. He wrote, “Congratulations Bhaia and Bhabhi Love You Both”.

Speaking of the much talked about wedding, Rakul and Jackky kicked off their pre-wedding celebrations from Mumbai itself wherein they planned a ‘dhol night’ at Vashu and Jackky’s home Puja Casa. Followed by that, the couple is also said to have hosted Haldi, Mehendi, and Sangeet in Goa since the functions kicked off from February 19. Followed by that, the wedding and pheras were held on February 21.
