The much talked about Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani wedding in Goa was a star-studded affair which was attended by many celebs from the industry. Along with them, the actor-producer’s father Vashu Bhagnani and mother Puja Bhagnani also invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend their lavish beachy wedding. Recently, the newlyweds received a specially signed note from the PMO office which was not only about extending their best wishes to the couple but wherein the PM also thanked the family for the wedding invite.
The statement issued from the office of Prime Minister Narendra Modi which was addressed to Vashu and Puja Bhagnani, said, “As Jackky and Rakul commence the journey of trust and togetherness for a lifetime, heartiest congratulations and greetings to them on the auspicious occasion of their wedding. The years to come are an opportunity for the couple to discover each other, while also embarking together on the path of self-discovery.”
It went on to further read, “May the couple's hearts, minds and actions be one. Being there by each other's side at all times, holding each other's hands in their quest to realise their dreams and aspirations, assuming responsibilities thoughtfully and affectionately, may the groom and the bride be perfect partners in the voyage of life by accepting each other's imperfections and learning from each other's virtues.”
“Heartfelt gratitude for inviting me to the wedding ceremony. I once again extend my greetings and best wishes for the momentous occasion,” the letter concluded.
The letter was shared by the couple on their respective social media handles wherein they too thanked the PM for his kind gesture. “Thnkyouuuuu soooo much honorable prime minister @narendramodi ji your wishes mean a lot to us,” Rakul wrote on her Instagram story. Similarly Jackky too shared, “Thank you so much honorable PM @narendramod ji. Your blessings mean a lot to us as we embark on this new journey<3".
Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani announced their relationship in 2021 but rumours of the couple tying the knot started doing the rounds at the start of this year. Rakul and Jackky kicked off their wedding functions in Goa from February 19 onwards and eventually tied the knot on February 21.
