Popular actress, Charu Asopa tied the knot with Sushmita Sen’s brother, and model-turned-actor, Rajeev Sen in 2019. Since then, her relationship with Rajeev has been in the headlines constantly, but for all the wrong reasons. For the unversed, in recent months, Charu and Rajeev hurled a number of accusations at each other. And now, amid their divorce proceedings, the estranged couple reunited to celebrate Charu’s 35th birthday.

On February 27, Rajeev Sen took to his verified social media handle and dropped a bunch of happy pictures with Charu and their daughter, Zianna. In the photos, the birthday girl looked gorgeous sporting a casual look in a brown floral printed dress. She opted for golden heels. Meanwhile, subtle makeup and curly hair amped up her overall look. Whereas, Rajeev posed in a casual t-shirt. Speaking of their little girl Zianna, she looked adorable in a pastel dual-toned frock along with two pigtails.

Penning a note for Charu, Rajeev wrote, “Happy Birthday Charu / wishing u lots of love with good health & happiness always.” Meanwhile, Charu also shared a few photos on her Instagram handle, and wrote, “Thank you @rajeevsen9 , had an amazing day. Thank you for making my bday so special.”

While many of their friends extended birthday wishes, netizens were puzzled. “What is ur relationship status?,” asked a user, while another commented, “Why do you guys make fool of audience. Why so much sobbing in interviews and then sharing pictures together. Not once but 100th time.....Manipulators.” a third one quipped, “This family run their own Private Bigg Boss but it runs throughout the year.”

Coming to the professional front, Charu was last seen in Sony TV’s TV show, Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye. Reportedly, she will be seen in an upcoming TV show, titled Johari, which will be telecasted on Antrangii TV.
