On the 96th birth anniversary of legendary Bollywood actor Raj Kapoor, his grandchildren Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor took to their social media handle to share some rare old pictures of their grandfather. Kareena Kapor shared a picture of her grandparents Raj Kapoorand Krishna Kapoor posing with her father Randhir Kapoor.

On Raj Kapoor’s 96th birth anniversary, Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor remember him with rare pictures

The picture shared by Kareena Kapoor seems to have been clicked in the 60s or 70s which is also referred to the golden era of Indian cinema. In the black-and-white picture, Randhir and Raj Kapoor look dapper in suits while Krishna Kapoor looks elegant in a salwar suit with a netted dupatta. Sharing the picture, Kareena wrote, "There will never be another... Happy birthday Dadaji"

Karisma Kapoor also took to her Instagram handle to share a childhood picture of her in her grandfather's arms. "So many learning’s from my Dadaji..❤️ remembering you on your birthday..#grandpalove #legend." she captioned the black-and-white picture.

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, sister of Ranbir Kapoor, also shared a childhood picture of her sitting in Raj Kapoor's lap along with her cousins. She simply wrote, “Miss you.”

Raj Kapoor was born on December 14, 1924 in Peshawar, Pakistan. The haveli in which Raj Kapoor was born was recently in news as the Pakistan Government has decided to turn it into a heritage site.

Raj Kapoor passed away in 1988 while his wife Krishna Kapoor passed away in 2018.
