Readers would be aware that even before the film hits the theatres, the makers of Sanaa have decided to screen it across film festivals and recently a screening was held in the much-talked about International Film Festival of India 2023 in Goa. Now, we hear that Radhika Madan and the entire team received a resounding standing ovation at (IFFI) for their exceptional work.

This comes after the film garnered a similar enthusiastic response at the Tallinn Film Festival. It seems that the Indian audiences too will now be eagerly awaiting to watch the same on the big screen soon. Speaking about the response at IFFI, Radhika expressed her excitement, stating, "I was waiting impatiently to share Sanaa with my fellow Indians, and the love and reception it received at IFFI is truly heartwarming. I was extremely grateful when the film received a standing ovation at Tallinn last year as well, but the feeling was out of the world when my own people loved it so much! "

She went on to add, "I believe in breaking boundaries and exploring the vastness of cinema on a global scale. From Tallinn to New York and now Goa, each international event has been a unique chapter in my journey. It's not just about presenting a film; it's about representing the evolving landscape of Indian cinema worldwide. The hectic schedule is a small price to pay for the privilege of showcasing our stories on such esteemed platforms." Radhika Madan said.

Radhika Madan's whirlwind schedule recently took her from one prestigious international event to the next, during which she also Sanaa at the Tallinn Film Festival last year. Speaking of Sanaa, the film also stars Sohum Shah, Shikha Talsania, Pooja Bhatt, among others and is directed by Sudhanshu Saria.
