In an era where remakes and adaptations have become common place in the film industry, Sikandar is a refreshing and bold testament to originality, reveal the makers. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, the Salman Khan starrer has garnered ample excitement and anticipation among fans who eagerly await the Bollywood superstar’s return to cinemas. Meanwhile, filmmaker Murugadoss, who is known for remakes like Ghajini and Holiday has insisted that this is a film that offers something entirely new to the audience, with every scene, every frame carefully crafted to bring an entirely fresh experience to the big screen.

From the very first teaser, Sikandar has promised to entertain audiences with its high-octane action, powerful performances, set on a grand scale. Director A.R. Murugadoss, who is known for his ability to deliver such power-packed and impactful experiences, has asserted that this is an action entertainer like never before, featuring an entirely original story that is not a remake of any film. He went on to share his thoughts on the originality of Sikandar and emphasised, "This is a completely original story. Every scene, every frame of Sikandar has been designed and executed with authenticity, offering a fresh narrative and experience.”

“It’s not a remake or adaptation of any existing film. An essential part of the film's originality is its stunning background score, crafted by the immensely talented Santosh Narayanan. His music perfectly complements the film’s energetic tone and vibrant visuals, adding an emotional depth that enhances every scene,” he added.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film not only reunites Salman Khan with his favourite producer-friend but it also marks his first collaboration with A.R. Murugadoss. The movie also explores the never-seen-before chemistry of the superstar with pan-India star Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, with it also featuring Kajal Aggarwal and Prateik Patil Babbar in key roles. While the date of the trailer release or the film’s release have been kept under wraps, the makers have promised that it will hit cinemas during Eid, this year.
