R. Madhavan has shared an emotional response after Allu Arjun praised Dhurandhar: The Revenge, the recently released action thriller headlined by Ranveer Singh. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Madhavan expressed gratitude and excitement, describing the appreciation as a significant moment in his career.
Responding to Allu Arjun’s tweet, Madhavan wrote, “I’m so humbled touched and hyper motivated. This means so much coming from you, my dear brother I have watched all your films with complete awe of your abilities. And so it’s a fantastic feeling to know how mutual it is. God bless you .. and this being the first review online is super super special to me at a pivotal point in my career in life” along with several emojis.
Earlier, Allu Arjun had taken to social media to applaud the film soon after watching it. “Just Watched #Dhurandhar2… Patriotism with swag A film that will make every patriot proud… Many clap-trapping moments… BLAST!” he wrote. He further appreciated the performances and technical aspects, adding, “Congratulations to the entire team.?Fine performances by @ActorMadhavan garu & all actors . Technical brilliance . In Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Ranveer Singh plays Jaskirat Singh Rangi, also known as the spy Hamza Ali Mazari, while R. Madhavan essays the role of Intelligence Bureau Director Ajay Sanyal. The film follows Rangi as he infiltrates the Karachi underworld to dismantle a complex terror network, leading to a high-stakes face-off with a powerful ISI antagonist.
Written and directed by Aditya Dhar, the film serves as a direct sequel to Dhurandhar and is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The ensemble cast also includes Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun.
