Global Star Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram to slam a publication for addressing her as 'wife of Nick Jonas' and not by her own identity, indirectly tossing out her entire work of lifetime. The actress shared the screenshots of the news story on her social media and wrote, "Very interesting that I'm promoting one of the most iconic franchises of all time and I'm still referenced as 'the wife of...'"

Adding the second screenshot of a news article in the same story, she continued, "Please explain how this still happens to women? Should I add my IMDB link in bio?" The actress also tagged her husband Nick Jonas in the same post.

This is not the first time Priyanka has raised her voice against inequality, she has always been an advocate for women's rights and has spoken bravely on this issue. From the time this superstar has been crowned Miss World, her every step is to empower women, so it made sense when she stood up for herself against the evil publishers of the West.

Talking about her work, Priyanka is busy promoting her latest film The Matrix: Resurrections, the Bollywood-Hollywood celebrity dressed up in a stunning shiny green textured shirt banded with a white wrap skirt which had a thigh-high slit.

The film starring Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, as well as Daniel Bernhardt, Jada Pinkett Smith, Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Groff and Jessica Henwick along with PeeCee, is all set to hit the theatres on December 22.
