Taking to her Instagram Story, Chopra shared an image of the Holika Dahan ritual and wrote, “There's a lot unfolding around the world. It's hard. It's heavy. But light has a way of showing us the way. Here's to the triumph of good over evil. #HolikaDahan.”

Her note comes at a time of heightened geopolitical strain in the Middle East. Following reported US-Israel strikes, Iran has allegedly targeted several Gulf states, including the United Arab Emirates. According to international reports, cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi have experienced missile and drone strikes in recent days, adding to regional uncertainty.

While Chopra did not directly reference specific countries or incidents, her message alluding to “a lot unfolding around the world” resonated against the backdrop of the ongoing tensions. Holika Dahan, observed on the eve of Holi, traditionally symbolises the victory of good over evil — a theme the actor echoed in her caption.

On the professional front, Chopra is currently receiving positive responses for her latest OTT release, The Bluff, which is streaming on Amazon Prime Video and is presently topping the platform’s US charts. Directed by Frank E. Flowers, the film also features Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green and Temuera Morrison in key roles.

At the same time, the actor is preparing for the next schedule of her upcoming film Varanasi, which is expected to mark her return to Indian cinema after eight years. The project, directed by S. S. Rajamouli, stars Mahesh Babu in the lead with Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist. The team has reportedly been filming for 14 months and is set to continue for another six months, with the next schedule said to commence in Antarctica.
