Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her singer-husband, Nick Jonas, appeared on screen together in the recently released romantic drama titled Love Again. Nick made a brief appearance in the film, which also featured actors Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. However, in a recent interview, Priyanka falsely claimed that Nick was a “phenomenal” actor, but her statement was exposed when she underwent a polygraph examination.
During a recent lie detector test, Priyanka found herself being untruthful initially about Nick's acting abilities but eventually confessed that he might require some lessons in the craft. When asked about her opinion on Nick's acting skills, Priyanka initially responded with, "I think he's an excellent actor." However, her statement was identified as false by the interviewer, prompting her to correct herself, stating, "He is a phenomenal actor." As she was confronted once more for being dishonest, Priyanka admitted, "I keep lying about his acting.”
During the lie-detector test, Priyanka shared her previous indifference towards Nick and the music band, Jonas Brothers, before he contacted her through direct messages. She admitted, "I knew of the Jonas Brothers, I knew the music, but, no, I didn’t know very much about them.” Furthermore, Priyanka revealed that Nick wasn't her favourite member of the band until he reached out to her on social media. She stated, “Didn’t have skin in that game at that time, but after he DM’d me, immediately he was."
Nick and Priyanka tied the knot in Rajasthan in December 2018, and in January of the following year, they welcomed their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
Meanwhile on the professional front, currently Priyanka is receiving rave reviews for her Amazon Prime series Citadel. It is produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and showrunner David Weil. Alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden, the 6-episode series features Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville in pivotal roles. Her film Love Again recently released on May 12, featuring alongside Sam Heughan. She also has Heads of State and Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in her pipeline.
