Priyanka Chopra Jonas cheers for Kareena Kapoor Khan after latter joins UNICEF as their ambassador : Bollywood News

On Sunday, Kareena Kapoor Khan was signed on as the official National Ambassador of UNICEF India. The actress took to social media to share photos from the ceremony along with a heartfelt note expressing gratitude. Cheering her on was the global ambassador of the NGO, Priyanka Chopra Jonas who shared her happiness as she welcomed her colleague on board in her new role.

Taking to Instagram, Kareena Kapoor Khan shared photos of her signing the official documents as the brand ambassador of UNICEF India, and she said, “An emotional day for me… I am honored to be appointed as UNICEF India National Ambassador. Working with @unicefindia over the past 10 years has been truly enriching and insightful. I am proud of the work that we have done and am reiterating my commitment to being a voice for promoting and protecting child rights and an equal future for all children. A special thank you to the entire team who have been tirelessly working for the rights of women and children across the country. I am inspired every day and am looking forward to our continued partnership. I am very happy to welcome Gauranshi, Kartik, Vinisha and Nahid to the UNICEF India family as our newest Youth Advocates. I would also like to congratulate UNICEF India and celebrate 75 years of the incredible impact they have had on the lives of children in India. I pledge to continue to be a voice #ForEveryChild.”

Along with the post, she also posted a video of her speech wherein she asserted that she will do everything in her power to fulfill the new responsibilities and duties of her new role. Reposting the same on her Instagram story, Priyanka Chopra Jonas said, “Welcome to the family Kareena Kapoor Khan. Very well deserved (emoji).” Responding to the same, Kareena added, “Thank you PCJ <3 See you soon”.

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas are busy with their Bollywood and international commitments. While Kareena is gearing up for films like Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders, Singham Again with Ajay Devgn, among others, Priyanka is busy shooting for Heads of State and The Bluff in Europe.
