The trailer of Akshay Kumar's Prithviraj was unveiled earlier today. The grand trailer launch event at YRF studios was also attended by director and writer Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi and lead actress Manushi Chhillar who also makes her debut with the film. At the trailer launch event, the trio spoke to the media about the film and the process that went behind making the film.
During the trailer launch, Akshay Kumar was asked if he would be showing the film to Prime Minister Narendra by hosting a special screening of the historical drama. Reacting to it, Akshay said, “Agar unko dekhna ho toh apne aap hi dekh lenge. Mai kaun hota hu dikhane waala (If he wants to watch the film, he will watch it by himself. Who am I to show him the film)”.

Akshay Kumar has often praised Prime Minister Modi and his policies. In 2019, ahead of the Lok Sabha Assembly elections, Akshay also got the opportunity to interview the Prime Minister. Modi had also penned a letter of condolence when the actor lost his mother last year.
As for the film, Prithviraj is a historical drama with Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt in the pivotal roles of Chand Vardai and Kaka Kanha respectively. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi Prithviraj, is set to release on June 3 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
