Actor Preity Zinta recently opened up about a difficult travel experience, sharing that she felt relieved to return safely to Mumbai after what she described as a stressful overseas trip amid the ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran. The actor spoke about the experience in an Instagram post while also giving fans a glimpse into her Holi celebrations with family and friends.
Along with her message, Preity shared a series of photographs from the festive occasion. The pictures featured joyful moments as she celebrated the festival of colours with loved ones, including her husband Gene Goodenough. Surrounded by bright colours and cheerful smiles, the actor appeared relaxed and happy as she marked the festival after returning home.
Reflecting on the past few weeks, Preity expressed gratitude for being back in Mumbai and able to celebrate the festival safely with those close to her. In her caption, she wrote:
“So grateful to be back home in Mumbai after a very stressful trip from across the world. Even more grateful to be safe & to be able to celebrate Holi. It’s been a rough couple of weeks for people around the world and my heart and prayers are for all those people that are suffering and away from their families and in need of security, food, love and warmth. I pray to God to look after all of you. Happy Holi to all my fellow Indians and to everyone else celebrating Holi.”
Her heartfelt note also reflected concern for those facing difficult circumstances globally, as she expressed hope that people in need find safety, support and warmth. Preity concluded her message by wishing everyone celebrating Holi a happy festival and sending “love and light” to her followers.
