Amidst the chaos and confusion surrounding Poonam's alleged death, Sam Bombay admitted to feeling delighted that his wife was, in fact, alive, making it look as if he didn’t know the truth. He emphasized the importance of her well-being, stating, “I'm delighted she did. She is alive. That's enough for me. Alhamdullilah.”

Reflecting on the surreal situation, Sam disclosed his lack of surprise regarding Poonam's fabricated death announcement. Despite the initial shock and confusion generated by the false claims made by Poonam's team on social media, Sam remained steadfast in support for his wife.

In response to whether he had any doubts regarding the news, Sam candidly admitted, “Yes.” He elaborated on his emotional response to the news, revealing that he felt a lack of connection to the reported loss and emphasized the daily prayers and thoughts he dedicates to Poonam. He said, “When I heard the news, I felt nothing in my heart. There was no sense of loss. And I thought this can't be. Why do I feel nothing? Because when you're connected, you feel everything. I think about her (Poonam Pandey) every day. And, I pray for her every day. If something was wrong, I'd know.”

For those unaware of the unfolding controversy, Poonam Pandey, the well-known model-actor, found herself at the centre of speculation regarding her alleged demise from cervical cancer on February 2. However, Pandey swiftly debunked these reports on Saturday, affirming her continued existence and utilizing the moment to advocate for greater awareness about the disease.
