Deepika Padukone is not only one of the biggest Bollywood stars but also one of the few bankable names. She has had a series of successful films, starting from her debut Om Shanti Om in 2007 opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

Her recent release Fighter hasn’t quite lived up to its expectations at the box office but that doesn’t take away the many successes Deepika has seen in her career. Here’s looking at her Top 5 highest grossing films:

Pathaan (2023)

Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan was Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after four long years. But the film also featured Deepika Padukone in a pivotal role of a Pakistani ISI agent, who ultimately joins hands with SRK’s character Pathaan. The movie earned a mammoth Rs. 543.05 crores, becoming the first film to breach the Rs. 400 and 500 crores barriers.

Padmaavat (2018)

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, this epic historical drama was one of Deepika Padukone's highest-grossing films. It performed exceptionally well by amassing Rs. 302.15 crores. Also starring Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in pivotal roles, it was the first triple century movie for all three main cast members.

Chennai Express (2013)

Directed by Rohit Shetty and co-starring Shah Rukh Khan, this action-comedy film was a massive hit and contributed significantly to Deepika's box office success. It earned a huge amount of Rs. 227.13 crores and that too over a decade ago. Chennai Express was the second time that Deepika was cast opposite Shah Rukh Khan after her runaway successful debut Om Shanti Om (2007).

Happy New Year (2014)

After her dream debut through Om Shanti Om, Deepika Padukone joined hands with choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan with this film. The heist film with a lot of humour was enough for it to amass Rs. 203 crores at the box office almost a decade ago.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013)

Deepika Padukone starred opposite Ranbir Kapoor in this romantic drama directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film had a terrific connect with the college-going crowd and was a runaway hit as it went onto earn Rs. 188.57 crores at the box office. It also starred Aditya Roy Kapur, Kalki Koechlin and Kunaal Roy Kapur in pivotal roles.
