Internet celebrity and social media influencer Orry has finally addressed the much-discussed fallout with actor Sara Ali Khan, shedding light on why he chose to distance himself from her on social media. In a candid conversation with Hindustan Times, Orry spoke about unfollowing Sara and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan, while also sharing his perspective on the controversy that sparked online speculation.

Confirming the social media move, Orry said, “I unfollowed Sara a while ago.. and I haven’t followed Ibrahim in years.” While unfollowing celebrities often fuels rumours, Orry clarified that the decision stemmed from deeper personal reasons rather than a casual online disagreement.
Explaining the emotional impact behind his choice, he added, “Pretending to be friends with Sara means pretending to be ok with the trauma her mother put me through and I just don't think I can do that anymore.” He further suggested that reconciliation may be possible under certain circumstances, stating, “If Amrita Singh were to apologise, I could maybe see myself letting it go in the future”.
The fallout reportedly gained traction after social media users noticed a reel in which Orry appeared to take a dig at Sara Ali Khan’s acting career. This was followed by another video where he spoke about the “three worst names,” which netizens interpreted as indirect references to Sara, her mother Amrita Singh, and actor Palak Tiwari. While none of the names were explicitly mentioned, the timing of the posts intensified speculation around an ongoing rift.
Addressing the criticism surrounding his content, Orry maintained that his remarks were taken out of proportion. “I don’t really think I said anything wrong about her.. I just made a small joke taking a dig at her career .. I highly doubt she even felt bad about it .. the whole internet makes fun of Sara’s movies all the time.. her biggest body of work is a series of memes that she’s delivered via movies.. people make fun of me being jobless all the time.. it’s not that deep.”
Orry, who enjoys massive popularity online for his unapologetic persona and viral content, is no stranger to internet scrutiny. While neither Sara Ali Khan nor her family has responded publicly to his remarks, the episode has once again highlighted how social media jokes and personal histories can quickly spiral into public controversies.
