Taking an active plunge into contemporary fashion, just like her contemporaries was Anushka Sharma who launched her brand Nush. Celebrity-led fashion lines are easily lapped up by millennials for their uber-cool quotient, refreshing colours and interesting details. The brand was earlier riddled with the controversy that the designs were inspired from Chinese online retailers. Putting it all firmly behind her back, Anushka embarked on her Nush journey with a renewed fervor this year. She even introduced the quintessential Indian comic character of Suppandi in the brand’s Spring Summer 2018 collection. From time to time, Anushka has taken to flaunting designs from the brand for her airport looks, casual outings and even promotional styles. A recent appearance outside a suburban studio saw Anushka pull off a chic colour blocked sweatshirt from Nush. Our roving fashion eye, though couldn’t help but notice a striking similarity with a sweatshirt from the high-street brand, H&M!
Here’s how we think that the two sweatshirts bear an uncanny resemblance.
Anushka teamed a pink and white colour blocked sweatshirt with black ripped denim and sneakers. The Nush sweatshirt featuring a mock collar, long sleeves, zip closure, straight hem retails at INR 1399/-.
Meanwhile, the H&M colour blocked sweatshirt features an OKAY caption, a stand-up collar and zippered detail. This sweatshirt retails at $ 24.99, roughly equivalent to INR 1800/-.
While the contrasting colours in this sweatshirt are light pink, white and red, Nush sweatshirt features pink, white and black colours.
For us, it was a déjà vu moment as Anushka Sharma’s Nush sweatshirt instantly reminded us of the OKAY H&M sweatshirt! Your thoughts? Do let us know in the comments section below!
