On International Men's Day, it is our turn to remember, recognise and appreciate the men that stood beside us unconditionally and had our backs no matter how difficult it got. All the amazing fathers, brothers, husbands and friends deserve a huge applause! Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan also took to social media, keeping up with the spirit of the day, and raised a toast to the 'kickass' men in her life.
'I've been lucky enough to know a lot of kickass men in my life. Even if all of them aren't necessarily old enough to be called men yet. I'm eternally grateful. Happy Men's Day,' she wrote, sharing a handful of recent and throwback pictures. One among them is an old photograph of Ira and her brother, seated on a bike with their father. In another, she strikes a pose with cousin brother Imran Khan. But the most adorable one among the lot is the one where she cuddles her pet dog! Check out the photos below.
Ira, who doesn't want to follow her father's footsteps and become an actor, is keener to pursue direction. Her debut directorial play Medea, an adaptation of Euripides’ Greek play with the same name, is set to premiere in a few months.
