Nimrat Kaur gets nostalgic as she visits alma mater in Patiala; calls it her favourite “red carpet” : Bollywood News

After giving a noteworthy performance in Dasvi, Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur has kickstarted shooting for her next, titled Happy Teachers Day. Taking from the film's emotions, Nimrat Kaur took time to visit her childhood school in Patiala. The actress lived with her family in Patiala for quite some time and had studied at the Yadavindra Public School.

The Airlift actress took to her social media handle and shared a few pictures to give a peek into her visit to the school. In the photos, an elated Nimrat can be seen posing at different corners of the school. In the caption, the actress wrote, “Going back to my glorious old school, a house we called our home once, my favourite kind of red carpet and much more.” She also added, “a trip down happiness lane to Patiala was everything close to our hearts”.

Being nostalgic while visiting her childhood school, Nimrat expressed how she felt at that time. She said, “I am very excited to be in Patiala and see my childhood school. It feels great to visit your old memories. I was in Yadavindra Public School. It's very very interesting coming back here after so long. This school has one of my most cherished memories and I am delighted to visit it after so long.”

“I feel elated with Nimrat Kaur’s visit to YPS, Patiala today. It gives us a sense of pride that the student of YPS has made her mark in Bollywood and Hollywood. She is an inspiration for our students. I wish her good luck for her future endeavours,” expressed Maj Gen Sanjiv Varma, VSM (Retd.), Director Yadavindra Public School, Patiala.

Her forthcoming film called Happy Teachers Day will also star Radhika Madan. The film is slated to release on Teachers Day 2023. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film will be helmed by Mikhil Musale.
