In the recent episode of Indian Idol 12, Neha Kakkar was moved by the story of veteran lyricist Santosh Anand and decided to offer him financial help.
The man behind the words of songs like 'Ek Pyaar Ka Nagma Hai' and 'Mohabbat Kya Cheez Hai', accompanied the legendary music composer Pyarelal of the Laxmikant-Pyarelal duo on the sets of the reality show and said that he has been out of work for a long time now. Neha Kakkar said, “I would like to give you ₹5 lakh as a small gesture and would also like to request the Indian entertainment industry to give Santosh Ji some work as he has been such a crucial part of our industry. It's our duty to help our colleagues in their bad times”.
The gesture moved the audience present and Neha has yet again managed to win the hearts of her fans.
