After an elaborate seven-year courtship, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, the actor-director duo of Kollywood, are finally married. The pair married in a small ceremony before daybreak, known as a 'brahma muhurtam,' which is considered auspicious by Hindus. The wedding was attended by several celebrities, including actor Shah Rukh Khan, producer Boney Kapoor, and actors Rajinikanth, Suriya, Jyothika, Karthi, among others.

The actor and filmmaker finally posted their first wedding photo on Thursday, after a long wait. Nayanthara looks stunning in a custom-made JADE ensemble, as evidenced by the photo. Nayanthara wore a handcrafted saree in JADE's distinctive vermillion red for the wedding ceremony. The saree features tone-on-tone embroidery that is inspired by the carvings found in Hoysala temples. Goddess Lakshmi's motifs are also featured on the bajubandh on the sleeves of the blouse, which is a meaningful tribute to Nayanthara's appreciation for heritage. The fourth wedding vow, which is personalized with the couple's name and runs across the saree, signifies togetherness, commitment, and mutual respect.

Gold and diamonds have always been popular among brides, but emeralds are progressively catching up with them due to their exquisite beauty, and Nayanthara has opted for emeralds as well. She chose an emerald choker and a multi-strand emerald necklace to go together. She wore matching maang-tikka, circular stud earrings, a chunky emerald ring, and bangles with her multiple emerald neckpieces.

In terms of make-up, Nayanthara used metallic brown eye-shadow to add drama to her eyes, while her kajal perfectly suited her brown-toned nude lip colour. The makeup was a master-class in accentuating her already-beautiful features, with defined brows and kohl-rimmed eyes. Her hair was intricately but precisely wrapped with gajra framing her bun, a charming small red bindi on her forehead, and henna on her hands, offered us some bridal beauty inspiration that we'll be bookmarking.

While Nayanthara looked stunning, her husband, Vignesh Shivan, was equally impressive. Vignesh was likewise dressed in a JADE atelier ensemble. His outfit consisted of a veshti, kurta, and shawl, and it was resonant with four pheras that represented Dharma, Arth, Karma, and Moksha. He accessorized his all-white outfit with a gold chain and a silver wristwatch. His well-kept hair and beard enhanced his appearance even more.
