Seeing Nayanthara and Shah Rukh Khan together on the big screen has been possibly one of the most awaited moments of the year along with Bollywood’s Badshah once again exploring his action side in the recently released action entertainer. On the auspicious day of Gokulashtami, Jawan hit the theatres and it is expected to be one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. And as predicted, it has already kicked off the day with a bang. Describing the immense anticipation about the film and owing to the massive fan following of our beloved King Khan, we all can agree with the paparazzo member calling it as a ‘festival’ and here’s how the film’s leading lady reacted to it.

It seems that during the release of Jawan, Nayanthara was seen in Mumbai alongside husband Vignesh Shivan. As the couple were making their way at the Mumbai airport, they were obviously greeted by the paparazzi, who were not only thrilled to see them but also congratulated them about the grand opening of Jawan in theatres. In fact, one of them went on to say, “Jawan movie nahi festival hai (Jawan is not a movie but a festival)”. Nayanthara, who heard the comment, looked back to express her gratitude as she mouthed ‘thank you’ to the cameraman for his sweet reaction.

Speaking of Jawan, the film features Shah Rukh Khan in multiple avatars along with Nayanthara in the role of an honest cop. It also stars Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist along with Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Yogi Babu, Sunil Grover, Ridhi Dogra, among others featuring in pivotal roles. It also stars Deepika Padukone in an important cameo. Directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jawan released to housefull theatres on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
