Actor Preity Zinta has shared her reaction after watching Dhurandhar The Revenge, which released in theatres following its paid previews on March 18, 2026. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has opened to positive responses from critics and audiences, and Zinta’s review adds to the growing appreciation.
Taking to social media, Zinta posted pictures with Arjun Rampal, who plays Major Iqbal in the film, and casting director Mukesh Chhabra. Sharing her thoughts, she described the film as an engaging cinematic experience and wrote that revenge stories should be like this one.
She praised multiple aspects of the film including direction, acting, music, editing, story and casting. According to her, every department contributes strongly to the overall impact. She also revealed that her mother wanted to watch the film again in theatres, adding that she felt the same.

Zinta reserved special praise for the film’s lead, Ranveer Singh, calling his performance layered and sincere. She also acknowledged R. Madhavan for his performance and appreciated the work of the entire cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun and Rampal.
The actor also mentioned composer Shashwat Sachdev for elevating the film with its music and credited Mukesh Chhabra for the casting.
Directed and co-produced by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar The Revenge is a Hindi-language spy action thriller and serves as the sequel to Dhurandhar (2025). Backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Gaurav Gera.
The story follows an undercover Indian intelligence agent navigating Karachi’s criminal networks and political landscape while continuing his mission linked to the 26/11 attacks. Positioned as the final part of the duology, the film expands on the scale and stakes introduced in the first installment.
With strong early word of mouth and reactions from industry voices like Preity Zinta, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has begun its theatrical run on a positive note.
