“Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is the filmiest thing I’ve ever done” – Imran Khan

It's not even twenty four hours and all Imran Khan fans are going mad. I'm not even considering the nationwide and worldwide Katrina 'beautiful legs' fans! But hey, when you have a double whammy, it doesn't get more interesting, cheesy, entertaining and filmy as Yash Raj Film's next. A couple of days ago, I met Imran Khan who was in an ecstatic mood for two reasons. For the moment, he'll talk about the reason two - Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. "I just saw Mere Brother Ki Dulhan two days ago and it's the filmiest thing I've done. It's got massive 'dhinchak' music and it's filmy to the core. The style of the humour in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is the exact opposite of what we've done in Delhi Belly. Here we've over played everything. But overall, you should enjoy doing a little bit of both I guess", Imran tells me.

From his suaveness to the one who is sexy, Imran hasn't spared any of the slimmest heroines from our industry when it comes to acting. He's worked with the who's who except one. "I've worked with every beautiful sexy looking actress barring Priyanka Chopra. She is the last actress from the current crop that I've not worked with", quotes Khan.

Having said that, Imran's rapport with his current co-star Katrina Kaif speaks volumes. He explains, "I think Katrina is very reserved. It took me close to two weeks to generate a rapport with her. She isn't a girl who'll make an effort with you but instead, you'll have to make an effort with her. Once you break that barrier, she is the most chilled out easy going person. When you meet her, you'll think she is going to be very up tight and very difficult. But she isn't like that. She has been the hardest working actor I've worked with by a mile. The kind of effort she puts in her diet, her body, her dance, her diction, her character etc... I've never seen anyone doing it so hard. She will wake up two hours early so she can prep the scene. She is commendable."

And what about the new kid on the block Ali Zafar? "Ali Zafar has got a lot of accolades for Tere Bin Laden and he has become very popular. Filmmakers are interested in working with him and he is going to generate a lot of laughter in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. He is hilarious. He has a very 'harami' humour. Ali does everything with dead-pan and straight face. He likes to mess with people. He took particular joy in ragging Katrina. He speaks beautiful Urdu because he is from Pakistan. So when Ali would converse with her, he would take advantage of that fact", reveals Imran.
