Manoj Bajpayee has given some of his best performances this year in films like Aligarh, Traffic and Budhia Singh- Born to Run. Moving on to his next project, Manoj Bajpayee will be next seen in a Hollywood film titledIn the Shadows.

It has been learned that Manoj Bajpayee is shooting for this film in Delhi. The principal photography of India-set European back feature will be completed in the capital itself. We found a still of Manoj shooting with Belgian actress Laura Verlinden who was the star of the international film The Brand New Testament which was Belgian's official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at 88th Academy Awards.

Los Angeles-based feature debutant director Dipesh Jain revealed that he was writing this story since 2009 in bits and pieces. Last year, he completed the script. He kept the story simple but intricate so that connects emotionally with the story as well try to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

In the Shadows is a psychological drama about Manoj Bajpayee who plays the character of Khuddoos who is trapped within the dark alleys of Delhi and in his own mind. Dipesh Jain said that there are two parallel stories, one about Khuddoos who has installed spy cameras in the alleys to snoop as that is his only connect with people, and the second about Idris who is beaten up by his abusive father and how Khuddoos tries to help him.

Talking about the experience, Manoj Bajpayee said that his director's perspective on old Delhi was quite refreshing to hear. He admitted that he absolutely loved the script. Having said that, he also praised his co-star Laura and talked about learning certain nuances from her as their acting approaches were completely different.

In the Shadows is 90% in Hindi but Laura Verlinden's portions are in English. The cast also includes Ranvir Shorey, Neeraj Kabi, and Shahana Goswami.
