During a candid conversation on Kiska Brand Bajega, Madhuri revealed, “For me, that was one of the dreams I had for myself.”

Married to Shriram, a Los Angeles-based cardiothoracic surgeon, since 1999, Madhuri embarked on the path of motherhood with the arrival of their first child, Arin, in 2003. Two years later, they welcomed their second son, Ryan, into the family fold. Expressing her lifelong aspiration for family and children, Madhuri disclosed, “Having a family and having kids was always something I looked forward to.” Addressing concerns about her hiatus from acting, the actress shared her perspective, stating, “I’m going to have kids and that’s going to be fun.”

In an upcoming episode of Dance Deewane Season 4, the producers orchestrated a heartfelt surprise for esteemed judge Madhuri Dixit on her 57th birthday. Marking his first appearance on a television show, Madhuri's husband Shriram Nene was invited to partake in the celebration. A recent promo shared by Dance Deewane on Colors TV's Instagram page captured Madhuri's joyous reaction as she embraced her husband Shriram and their beloved dog Carmelow on stage. Overwhelmed by the surprise, Madhuri exclaimed, “OMG, this is the biggest surprise,” as the couple prepared a special birthday tribute for her on the show.

Despite her temporary hiatus from the silver screen, Madhuri Dixit Nene made a triumphant comeback to acting with the 2022 release of The Fame Game. Reflecting on her journey, she emphasized that the decision to prioritize family was a natural and fulfilling choice for her.
