Adding yet another one to the list of matrimonial bonds that are set to form this year, Prateik got engaged to his ladylove Sanya Sagar at a private ceremony in Lucknow on Monday, January 22 at Sanya’s farmhouse.

Earlier we had reported that Prateik Babbar and Sanya Sagar are keen on making it official this year and had even reported about a few details on their engagement. It was strictly a private affair with family and close friends and Sanya herself looked into all arrangements. The function boasted of a seven course Lucknowi meal along with Prateik’s favourite dish rajma on the menu. But uninhibitedly, Prateik Babbar decided to give a glimpse of his engagement ceremony to his fans by sharing a picture from their photoshoot.

This adorable picture featured the bride and groom-to-be caught in a candid surprise moment as he captioned it saying, “#monday.. "holy snappp!.. that just happened!" With well wishes pouring in, the actor recently confessed to the media that he is indeed in a happy space. Although he maintained silence on details of marriage despite being prodded, he did maintain that they are yet to pick a wedding date.

He revealed that they are keen on enjoying the courtship for more time, may be for a year or two before they tie the knot. However, he did not hold back to express his wish that he would like a beach wedding or a simple temple wedding if had to have it his way. The actor also stated that he is mentally ready to be committed to a bond like marriage and asserted that his life will only become more beautiful.

Besides this, Prateik Babbar is also keen on collaborating with Sanya Sagar on the work front. Readers may be aware that Sanya is an aspiring director-writer and the actor is also happy about making this partnership a professional one but is looking for the right opportunity.

Although Prateik and Sanya have known for each other for a while, the two started dating only a year ago. Their 2017 ended with Prateik going down on his knees for a proposal at a music festival in December.
