The five days of fashion extravaganza, Lakme Fashion Week 2019 Summer/Resort concluded today. Actress Karisma Kapoor walked the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer/Resort 2019 ramp for Jaipur-based designer Punit Balana.
Playing muse to his collection,'Maya', Karishma was earlier quoted, "I'm excited to walk for Punit Balana at LFW for his outstanding collection called Maya. The silhouette and the print of this entire collection make it fun, yet stylish and very versatile.”
The designer has played with prints in combination with eco-friendly material and hand printing. The free-spirited Maya was an ode to the French novel "Madam Bovary". Balana’s collection saw him mixing signature block prints, using natural organic dyes, colours and eco-friendly techniques and sculptural shapes. Bold cuts, plunging necklines and quirky styles dominated the line.
