LFW Summer/Resort 2019: Divya Khosla Kumar stuns in a pink silk saree as showstopper for Parvathi Dasari

The third day of the five-day fashion extravaganza, Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2019 saw the Chennai based fashion designer Parvathi Dasari showcase her collection with actor-director Divya Khosla Kumar as her muse. Divya sashayed on the runway looking resplendent in a pink silk saree from the designer's latest handloom collection. The collection titled ‘Tropical Paradise’ drew its inspiration from the tropical jungle with serene yet striking representation of animals including the elephant, duck and parrot. The vintage yet contemporary six-yard ensembles, all in pure zari featured beautiful silhouettes handwoven by the weavers. The colour palette featured bright jewel hues, in bright reds, pinks, blues and greens with softer shades. The designer had earlier lent us a sneak peek into a kalidar pattu lehenga featuring 24 kali woven with rising double elephant motifs.

Divya wore a stunning bright pink silk saree teamed with a matching backless blouse.

Sleek pulled back braided hair with a sindoor adorned center-parting and glossy makeup rounded out her look.
