Alchemy of Souls Part 2 has unveiled a new teaser! The highly anticipated season 2 starring Lee Jae Wook, Go Yoon Jung and Hwang Minhyun is set to premiere on tvN and Netflix simultaneously on December 10, 2022.

Penned by Hong Sisters (Hong Mi Ran and Hong Jung Eun), the series is directed by Park Joon Hwa. Alchemy Of Souls is a story about a fearless warrior who is trapped in the body of a young woman… who happens to be a lowly house servant to a mischievous nobleman. Will she be the one to tame him, or will he drive her up the wall with his antics?

As translated by Korean tabloid Soompi, the new teaser begins with the narration, “The power of the ice stone is too much to handle.” Park Jin (Yoo Joon Sang) gives Jang Wook (Lee Jae Wook) a sharp warning, “You will die if you take out the ice stone within you.” Jang Wook, who died towards the end of Part 1, gets resurrected using the ice stone.

The teaser then cuts to some action-packed scenes filled with bloodied swords, fire and appearance of a mysterious woman who asks Jang Wook, “Will you be at ease if that’s removed?” while touching his chest. In a following scene, Jin Ho Kyung (Park Eun Hye) narrates, “They will never be able to recognize each other.” Meanwhile, Seo Yul (Hwang Minhyun) looks affectionately at someone and remarks, “I was wondering if we had met before.”

Season 1 concluded on August 28 with 20 episodes. The second season will air the final 10 episodes concluding the story of the historical fantasy drama. Among the supporting cast who are set to appear in the second season are Shin Seung, Yoo Joon Sang, Oh Na Ra, Yoo In Soo, Oh My Girl’s Arin, and Do Sang Woo among others.

Alchemy of Souls Part 2 will premiere on December 10 at 9:10 p.m. KST. Watch the teaser below!
