Krushna Abhishek opted out of an episode of The Kapil Sharma Show featuring Govinda; says previous incident left a bad taste : Bollywood News

Actor-comedian Krushna Abhishek is a regular on The Kapil Sharma Show. His character Sapna entertains the guests with her jokes and life updates on the show. However, Krushna recently refused to be a part of an episode featuring his uncle and actor Govinda as the guest.

Krushna's relationship with his uncle went sour a few years back. While the two had a rocky relationship from the past few years, in 2018 their bond strained after Govinda's wife Sunita took offence on Kashmera Shah's tweet about people who dance for money. Last year when Govinda appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show with his wife and daughter, Krushna was missing from the episode as Sunita did not wish to share the stage with her nephew. However, this time Krushna himself has opted out of the episode.

Talking to a daily, Krushna said that the team of the show thought he will not have any problem performing for the episode as Govinda’s wife will not be accompanying him. However, he said that the previous incident left a bad taste in his mouth and so he had reservations this time. Krushna said that it is difficult to perform comedy when you share a strained relationship with someone.

Krushna said that he tried contacting Govinda during the lockdown but there was no response. He said that they didn't even come visit his twins in the hospital even when one of them was battling for life.

Krushna said that only Kapil can resolve the issues between them. He said that only Kapil can call him on stage the next time Govinda comes and make them solve their problems in front of everyone.
