Bollywood actors Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat, who recently tied the knot in an intimate ceremony, are offering fans a glimpse into their pre-wedding festivities. The couple recently shared pictures from their unique Haldi ceremony, revealing an unconventional twist on the traditional ritual.
Ditching the traditional turmeric paste, Kriti and Pulkit opted for a Haldi ceremony that incorporated Multani mitti, a clay known for its skin-brightening properties. In the pictures shared on their respective Instagram accounts, the newlyweds can be seen playfully smearing Multani mitti on each other, dressed in vibrant orange and yellow outfits.
Kriti's caption on the post sheds light on their decision, explaining that the Multani mitti pack was specially created "keeping our skin in mind coz bride and groom have to glow na!" She also humorously mentions how someone had to hold her back while others playfully threw Pulkit into a pool.
