Koffee With Karan 8: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh kept on kissing in sensuous Ram Leela scene even as a brick came through the window: “We didn’t break liplock”

Ranveer and Deepika were so engrossed in the kissing scene, that they didn't even realise a brick had come through the window.

The Indian entertainment industry has seen many reel-life couples turn into real-life couples. One such beautiful couple in the Indian entertainment industry at present is Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. Having delivered blockbusters on screen together, being the biggest superstars of the country, the duo appeared together for the first time on a television screen Koffee With Karan Season 8, hosted by Karan Johar.

Recalling how they were already dating on the sets of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie, Ranveer Singh said that they were shooting for the sensuous makeout scene. Ranveer and Deepika were so engrossed in the kissing scene, that they didn't even realise a brick had come through the window. They were “oblivious” to it because they were so into each other and inseparable. Eventually, everyone started to notice this around them. He said, "Mr Bhansali likes to shoot things as real as much as possible. A brick has come through the window. We are oblivious to the brick coming through the window and we are still in it. We didn't realise."

When asked when Ranveer knew Deepika was the one, he said, “Six months in, I knew she was the one!” Post the release of their first film together, Ram Leela, people realised how the couple were truly in love and as Ranveer mentioned in the episode, “ Everybody was watching how the love was in the air! And I feel like it may have translated in the film also!” to which, Karan agreed, stating “ It did! It seemed like the chemistry was real!”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will be seen in Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe Singham Again, while individually, Deepika Padukone will be seen in Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan and Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. On the other hand, Ranveer has signed Don 3 and reportedly Baiju Bawra.
