The beloved couch is back with the host Karan Johar as Hotstar Specials’ Koffee with Karan returned with season 8. This time, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday graced the couch to talk about their careers, friendships, relationships and more. During the conversation, Ananya Panday recalled how Sara Ali Khan took her to Juhu Chowpatty in Mumbai at 3 am and was trying to convince the cops to get access to the beach.
Ananya said that after a party they attended, Sara took her to Chowpatty and was trying to convince a cop to give them access to the beach. Sara, who got out of the car, told the cop, “Look, Ananya Panday is sitting in the car,” while the cop had recognised Sara as well. Ananya added, “She has taken me and we have run into the water at 3 in the morning.” When Karan asked Sara why she said “Look Ananya is sitting in the car,” the actress said, “I was just trying to be funny. What am I going to say?”
On the work front, Sara Ali Khan will next star in Homi Adajania's Murder Mubarak, Ae Watan Mere Watan and Metro In Dino.
Meanwhile, Ananya Panday was last seen in Dream Girl 2, alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. She now has Zoya Akhtar's Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Adarsh Gourav and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She is also set to make her streaming debut with Call Me Bae.
