Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar known for his acting prowess and charming personality, has once again impressed fans with his humility. In a recent interview, rapper King recounted an incident where Khan apologised to him with folded hands for being a few minutes late for a video call.

The ‘Maan Meri Jaan’ singer, while speaking to India Folk Project, shared his first-hand experience of interacting with Khan. He recalled the excitement he felt upon connecting with the actor over a video call for a potential collaboration. However, Khan's humility shone through when he apologised for joining the call a few minutes late.

"I spoke to him on a video call, and I couldn't sleep for two days just out of excitement," King recalled. "He came a little late on the call. Honestly, it didn't matter to me that he was late; he was there, and that's all that matters. But the first thing he did was fold his hands and say, 'King, I am so sorry I'm late.'" King was taken aback by Khan's gesture and immediately responded with folded hands, saying, "Sir, please don't do this."

Khan then expressed his desire to collaborate with King, stating that the rapper had complete creative freedom. "He said, 'King, if you don't feel like it, tell me,'" King shared. "He said, whatever you are doing is great, you don't need it. But if you feel like it, I really want that we work together."

Khan's respect for King's artistry further impressed the rapper. "He gave me the authority that you make the song," King revealed. "He said, 'I will change the script, you just make the song. I will not instruct you what to do.' He knows how important it is to give freedom to an artist."

While King did not divulge details about the specific collaboration, he hinted at something exciting in the pipeline leaving fans eager to hear more.
