The Zoya Akhtar directorial The Archies has been creating quite a bit of buzz, expectedly, considering that the film marks the debut of three popular star kids, namely, Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, Agastya Nanda, son of Shweta Bachchan and grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, and of course, Khushi Kapoor, daughter of late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor as well as sister of Janhvi Kapoor. As the release of teenage drama approaches, Khushi Kapoor once again shares why she feels a special connection with her character, Betty Cooper. In a recent interview, Kapoor revealed why she feels a deep bond with her on-screen character.

Describing her connection with Betty, Khushi Kapoor shared, "I relate a lot to Betty because she's sweet and sensitive. She takes things to heart. But she has so many friends that are there for her and support her." The simplicity and authenticity in her portrayal promise a relatable and genuine cinematic experience for audiences eagerly awaiting the big reveal on December 7th. As the excitement builds for the upcoming release, Khushi Kapoor's consistent acknowledgment of her bond with Betty adds an intriguing layer to the anticipation surrounding her debut.

The film’s trailer has recently hit the tube and has been garnering a lot of love from the younger lot. Inspired by the comic series and set against the backdrop of the fictional town of Riverdale in India in the 60s, The Archies revolves around rebellious youngsters who come together to fight for a good cause of environment preservation. As for the casting, this entertainer will also star an ensemble cast of debutants, including Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, among others along with Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, and Agastya Nanda. It is slated for release on December 7 only on Netflix.
