Following the release of ‘Sunoh’ and ‘Va Va Voom’, The Archies has released the third track ‘Dhishoom Dhishoom’ centering on the young women Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Dot along with Agastya Nanda and Mihir Ahuja. The song is composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Penned by Javed Akhtar and sung by Dot and Kelly Dlima, this earworm promises to stay with you long after you finish listening to it.

Featuring Suhana, Khushi and Dot on the skating rink, the three characters along with other girls try to teach Agastya and Mihir’s characters in the music video. The whole choreography is set on skating.

At Bollywood Hungama OTT India Fest 2023 in October, Suhana talked about the challenges of skating and said, “We started training 5 or 6 months before we actually started filming. I know you said it looks very breezy in the song, but I'm lucky you didn't see us fall and bump into each other, that was far from effortless. But yeah, it was a lot of fun. I loved every moment of it, even all the falling.” She added with a laugh, “I fell a lot, but I didn’t hurt myself luckily.”

At the same event, Dot confirmed that she had penned two songs for the movie and had the opportunity to work with Javed Akhtar. She said, “So Javed sahab basically wrote all the lyrics, in collaboration with Ankur Tewari as well. I did some of the English lines that had to be interspersed here and there. So it was really cool. We used to meet up at Zoya’s house, have a little bit of tea and sit together. Sometimes you'd meet at Shankar Ehsaan Loy’s studios, and we would just brainstorm. Each of us had sort of something that we brought to the table. Javed sahab has all this experience and he has his artistry. Ankur has his knowledge of the singer, songwriter, industry in the world and and then I have my young perspective. So Zoya was just there steering the ship and helping us work towards a vision of her own.”

This live-action musical transports viewers on an enchanting journey back to the captivating era of the 1960s, set in the fictional hill town of Riverdale. The film is produced by Netflix India, Tiger Baby, Archie Comics and Graphic India.

The Archies will be released worldwide on Netflix only on December 7, 2023.
