KBC 14: Amitabh Bachchan apologizes to a contestant for hurting Vinod Khanna during the shoot of Muqaddar Ka Sikandar 14 : Bollywood News

Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) features many contestants, who are not only present at the show to win the prize money but also to showcase their love for Amitabh Bachchan and Bollywood movies. Recently, the host came across one such movie buff who seems to have had information about films tracing back to the 70s when the megastar was a part of Muqaddar Ka Sikandar which featured him alongside Vinod Khanna.

The contestant Suraj Das was quite curious about a particular incident that happened on the sets of the film. When the two actors were shooting a scene in a bar, Amitabh’s action unintentionally injured Vinod Khanna’s chin that led which to the actor getting 16 stitches for the wound. In the video, contestant Suraj said, “Sir maine kahi padha tha, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar ki shooting ki dauran jo Vinod Khanna ji hai, aap unpe glass phekte hai aur woh glass unke chin pe lagta hai. Aur fir unhe solha taake padhte hai! Kya ye sahi hai sir? (Sir I read somewhere that during the shoot of Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, you threw a glass at Vinod Khanna and injured his chin. He ended up getting 16 stitches, is this true sir?)” To this, Amitabh cheekily responded, “Sir ye bilkul sahi hai, galati hogyi humse (You are right, Sorry to have committed that mistake.)"

The actor further revealed, “Bar mai khade hokar hum pi rhe the (We were drinking at the bar)." Immediately the contestant says, “Haan haan sahi hai (Yes, you are right).” To the same, Amitabh added, “Jab aap itna kuch padh liye toh kaahe tok rahein hai. (when you know so much, why do you keep cutting it in the middle.)” Their fun banter seems to have garnered an immense response from the audience.

Besides that, the contestant also discussed how Amitabh Bachchan used to ride a bike from Juhu to Bandra as a part of the said film’s rehearsals and how he would often be followed by his female fans.

Kaun Banega Crorepati is currently in its 14th Season. Being one of the longest-running game shows on Indian television, KBC 14 is a remake of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and airs on Sony TV at 9 PM.
