Kaun Banega Crorepati 13: Genelia D’Souza gets teary-eyed, Riteish Deshmukh gets emotional too 13 : Bollywood News

A new promo for the ‘Shaandaar Shukravaar’ episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 was shared by the makers that featured actor-couple Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh. The cause of their playing was to raise funds for cancer-stricken children.

Genelia got teary-eyed after seeing the video of the kids undergoing cancer treatment. Riteish said, “We will never be able to understand what the kids have gone through.” Host Amitabh Bachchan appreciated the couple’s efforts to make a difference.

Another promo showed Riteish going down on one knee and reciting lines from Big B’s films to impress a blushing Genelia. Riteish also gave his own twist to the legend’s iconic line from Shahenshah and said, “Rishte mein toh hum tumhare pati lagte hai, lekin naam hai Genelia sa naura (I am your husband, but my name is Genelia’s husband).”

The Shaandaar Shukravaar episodes features celebrity guests every week. Most recently, Pankaj Tripathi and Pratik Gandhi graced the show with their presence. Deepika Padukone-Farah Khan, Virender Sehwag-Sourav Ganguly and Jackie Shroff-Suniel Shetty are some of the other famous personalities who participated in the game show this season.

Riteish and Genelia got married on February 3, 2012. They have two sons, Rahyl and Riaan.
