Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan’s equation is something the tabloids can’t stop writing about, ever. From being co-stars to a couple and then former lovers, the two have lived quite a transition. But nothing drained their friendship. Salman and Katrina’s on-screen chemistry remains super hit as well. Katrina, who was recently speaking at Hindustan Times Mint Asia Leadership Summit in Singapore, echoed our sentiments when she called him a ‘friend for life’.
“Salman has really had my back, and has been there for me as a friend and a support over the years, unfailingly and intuitively. There have been moments where I was going through a particularly rough time in my life; a struggle, and with no contact, all of a sudden, our paths would just cross, and he would be there,” she said.
Katrina also came on board for Salman’s last outing Bharat after Priyanka Chopra, the original choice for the film, decided to step out. It was later reported that Kat was always Salman’s first choice for Bharat.
“He always seems to be able to sense it. It’s a bit of an intuitive relationship, as I said. Salman is definitely a friend for life. He’s that person who is completely reliable. I trust him implicitly, and I think we have that connection,” Katrina added.
Salman is presently working on the third edition of Dabangg franchise while Katrina will be next seen in Sooryavanshi opposite Akshay Kumar.
