Katrina Kaif, as we all know, is a private person and doesn't like to speak about her relationship to the media. Despite her initial hesitation, the Bharat actress opened up about it to the media and revealed that she decided to speak up because the media was interested in it. While doing the same, the actress not only spoke about why she likes to keep her life private but also about what went wrong about her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor.

In recent reports, Katrina Kaif revealed that if she had her way she would have never spoken about her relationship. However, when she realized that the media is interested in it, she decided to speak about it. She maintained that it would have looked quite rude of her to dodge the bullet each time so she decided to share at least the minimum she could and at the same time, be frank about it.

On the other hand, Katrina Kaif also spoke about the feelings that she underwent after her breakup with the Kapoor lad. She revealed that during the separation, her sister was going through a similar phase and that’s when she realized that in their case, the egos were more bruised because it was out in the open [since she and Ranbir Kapoor are public figures]. However, she also added that they both felt the same pain! But she thanks her reading skills and her supportive friends because of which she found solace. She also views it reportedly as a learning experience which made her more mature and hence, she asserted that she doesn’t regret this chapter.

Speaking of her current status, Katrina Kaif revealed that she continues to have immense respect for him and he too has the same feelings for her.

On the work front, after the success of her last release Bharat, Katrina Kaif is expected to be next seen in the Rohit Shetty film Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar.
