The first collaboration of Kartik Aaryan as Guddu and Kriti Sanon as Rashmi, from his 2019 released romantic comedy Luka Chuppi, ruled the hearts of the audience with its high entertaining quotient. With fabulous comic timing and the charming aura of a cute love story set against the backdrop of small town, received unanimous love from all across. The film has completed 5 years of its release on Friday, March 1 and a special post was shared by Kartik as well as the makers Maddock Films.

Kartik Aaryan revisited the memory of Luka Chuppi with a short glimpse of his scene from the film with a heartfelt note for his fans as it marked 5 years. Kartik took to his social media and shared a scene of Guddu Ki Bidaai from Luka Chuppi and captioned it saying, "#5YearsOfLukaChuppi … #GudduKiBidaai ?? A film that released right after Sonu Titu and gave me so much validation. Thank u to the entire team of LukaChuppi and the Audience @laxman.utekar @kritisanon @aparshakti_khurana #DineshVijjan".

On the other hand, makers Maddock Films, owned by Dinesh Vijan, posted montages from the film and captioned the post saying, “5 years since Guddu & Rashmi arrived & made our Duniyaa better, Here’s to their journey & the lessons they taught us!” It was also reposted by actress Kriti Sanon on her Instagram story too.

Luka Chuppi received a positive critical response from all across. While Kartik and Kriti received love and praise for his performance, their chemistry too was also loved by the audience. The film also received love for chartbusters, like, 'Poster Lagwado Bazar Mein', 'Coca Cola', 'Photo', and 'Laung Laachi'. Also starring Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi, Vinay Pathak among others, the film was directed by Laxman Utekar.
