The team of Yodha launched the trailer of the film at a multiplex in Ahmedabad on Thursday. The event was attended by actors Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna, director duo Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, producers Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shashank Khaitan and Manish Menghani and distributor Anil Thadani. During the event, director Karan Johar expressed his desire to reunite with his former students, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, and Varun Dhawan, in an action movie.

KJo, who launched the trio in the 2012 film Student of the Year, stated, "Working with the three of them again will be a dream come true for me and a complete circle. I am so proud of all of them."

Karan also reminisced about launching the actors, saying, "It’s been 12 years, and it still feels like the first day, when my godfather in the industry and my guru Yash Chopra was there to bless the three of them. They look the same. There was no difference.”

The filmmaker continued, "He (Sidharth) has the endless fountain of youth. I want to eat what he is eating. The first time I felt parental love was when the three of them were introduced through Student Of The Year. Yash and Roohi came later, they came first."

While Yodha features Sidharth Malhotra in the lead, Johar's comments have sparked excitement among fans eagerly awaiting a potential action film featuring the Student of the Year trio.

Yodha, directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, is set to hit theatres on March 15, 2024. The film also stars Raashi Khanna and Disha Patani.
