Kartik Aaryan turns 29 today, and even as he rings in his special day, there are number of reasons to celebrate. Other than the fact that he is clearly one of the youngest stars around who has gained quite some popularity for himself, there are on-screen shenanigans that are contributing to his elation as well. Just a couple of days back his song ‘Ankhiyon Se Goli Mare’ was unveiled and expectedly, it has turned out to be a smash chartbuster all over again.
“Kartik has been delivering chartbuster dance hits for many years now. Especially in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi, he had so many hit songs to his credit. Even as his songs continue to be hot favourite amongst the youngsters, it’s his latest song which has found instant popularity for itself. There is no DJ in town who hasn’t caught hold of this recreated version to be played on for the dance floor,” comments an observer.
However, what has made this song from his upcoming release Pati Patni Aur Woh all the more eye catchy is the manner in which veteran choreographer Farah Khan has put it all together.
“It is a known fact that Farah is currently neck deep down in putting together her next directorial outing. She picks very rare assignments when it comes to choreographing dance sequences for films made by others. ‘Ankhiyon Se Goli Mare’ was an exception though. There is huge nostalgic value attached to it due to Govinda and Raveena Tandon coming together back in time. Now with Kartik Aaryan leading the show and Ananya Pandey as well as Bhumi Pednekar stepping in, it was just the right combo for Farah to bring on some new moves,” our source adds.
For Kartik Aaryan, this was one opportunity that made him jump with joy. While he was exuberance personified when the song was being put together for this much awaited film, the fact that he got an opportunity to unveil it in front of a wide audience out there in Delhi made it all the more enticing for the young actor.
“It was indeed a huge high, more so since this has happened in the week leading to his birthday,” says a friend of Kartik, “He can’t help smiling from ear to ear. This is by all means the biggest dance number so far of his career, and rightly so. It is only going to get bigger.”
