Shinning brighter than the diamond are the sunshine girls of the tinsel town, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt! While one has defied the norms and notched the bar, championing the cause of working mothers, fitness and being irresistibly glamorous, the other is a millennial who took all those jeers in her stride and balled them into one stellar performance after another. With a strong sense of self, these ladies also tread on the fashion grounds with their innately sartorial sensibilities, keeping us hooked, booked and how! They say great minds think alike and a worthy testimony to this old adage was when Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt took a liking for a stunning Masaba creation – an ochre cape that served as a stunning accompaniment to their looks. While Kareena was out and about with her adorable munchkin Taimur Ali Khan soaking in the sun at BFF Amrita Arora’s pool, Alia was snapped at Imtiaz Ali’s birthday celebrations in the city last June.

Chilling scenes from BFF Amrita Arora’s poolside party over the weekend saw Kareena strut in style with Taimur perched firmly on her hip. Kareena flaunted her svelte frame in a relaxed fit ochre crepe ankle-length slip dress featuring a side slit, pearl-embroidered detailing and layered it with a matching ochre habutai silk cape jacket featuring blue and gold motif print, both from the House of Masaba. A comfortable pair of flip-flops, a top knot, reflector shades topped off her cool mommy look!(Also Read: Uh, nothing much! Alia Bhatt

Off-duty looks are her forte and acing the street style vibe for Imtiaz Ali’s birthday bash in the city, Alia Bhatt tucked a lace cami top into a pair of distressed denim. She layered the basic look with a bright ochre beach bed print cape jacket from the House of Masaba and rounded out her look with a Stella McCartney sling, white Dior pumps and a dewy makeup of bright lips and a half updo.
