Karan Johar and Gauri Khan have always shared a great camaraderie and their friendship can be traced back to decades. In a recent interview with the famous Architectural Design magazine, Karan opened up about collaborating with Mrs. Khan professionally and placing his blind faith on her choices. For the unversed, Gauri too has remained to be one of the most famous interior designs, who has designed for many celebrities in the past.

Readers may be aware that Karan Johar resides in a palatial penthouse with a built-in terrace in Mumbai and his apartment is expected to cover an area of over 5000 sq.ft. While the house was initially designed by actor Riteish Deshmukh, later on, after the filmmaker welcomed his twins, the nursery for the latter was decorated by Gauri Khan. Hence, this makes his second collaboration with Khan and the latter shared a few glimpses from his home on social media.

Along with that, he also opened up about his experience of working with Gauri Khan in an interview with AD magazine wherein Karan revealed that she considers him to be her best client. He explained the reason, saying, “Gauri claims I am her best client, as I did not interfere even once! It would have been easy for me to keep checking in on the work, and I will admit, it was tough to not peek, but I did not go on site until it was all done. I trusted her taste and judgment implicitly. I travel so much and when you come back, you want your personal space to not be anything like a hotel. And full credit to Gauri, she gave this space such a distinct identity, and also made this a home.”

In a social media post shared by Karan Johar, Gauri Khan had revealed that it was her bond with the filmmaker that helped her understand his personality and her personal camaraderie with him reflected in the way she styled his residence.
