Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani marked the return of Karan Johar as a director after seven years. Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, the film has garnered positive response across the board. It also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, Aamir Bashir and Anjali Anand. The film, which was released on July 28, has collected Rs. 153 crores in India. While the film is available for rent on streaming platform Prime Video, fans are awaiting the regular streaming release date. Now, Karan has released the much-in-demand ‘love hai toh sab hai’ deleted scene from the movie.

In the video, Ranveer Singh’s character Rocky Randhawa climbs up a ladder to meet Alia Bhatt’s Rani Chatterjee who is upset due to him and his family laughing during her father’s Kathak performance at Rocky’s best friend Vicky’s sangeet ceremony. The scene is equally humorous and adorable as Rocky and Rani patch up. In the trailer, there is another cut where Rani walks away from Rocky during the sangeet ceremony. It seems like this scene is post that one and after his famous monologue at Rani’s house, which wins the hearts of her family. Karan captioned the post, “Bas love hai toh sab hai…#RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani.” However, many pointed it out that the scene seems like a callback to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai when Rahul climbs up a ladder to meet Tina.

Recently, it was announced that Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been selected for the Busan International Film Festival 2023. The film, helmed by Karan Johar, has been selected in the Open Cinema section. It is one of the five movies in the section which includes France’s Dogman and The Animal Kingdom, Japan’s Revolver Lily, and Hong Kong’s One More Chance. The program schedule is yet to be announced.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar will be next helm an action project. However, he has many projects in the pipeline as a producer. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh will next headline Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3 and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt will star in YRF’s spy movie, Vasan Bala’s next and Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra.
