Filmmaker Karan Johar has praised singer Faheem Abdullah following the release of the title track of his upcoming film Chand Mera Dil. Taking to social media, Johar shared a carousel post appreciating the singer’s voice and contribution to the film’s music, calling it deeply moving and emotionally resonant.
In his note, Karan Johar wrote, “When you hear his voice…it pierces through your soul and heart and leaves you feeling everything at once. Faheem is that voice…he’s given our song Chand Mera Dil, as you can see…his EVERYTHING! It’s been such a wonderful journey working with him, seeing him weave his magic and sing it too!”
KJo further added, “He’s also sung ‘Aitbaar’ for our film, and there’s no voice that suited better for our heart aching melody. Take some time, listen to it and let it move you like it moved me…. Lots and lots of love to you @faheemabdullahworld , with this voice you’ll be the chand of every dil!!!”

The post comes shortly after the title track of the film was released on April 14, introducing audiences to Faheem Abdullah’s vocal tone within the film’s romantic soundscape. The singer, who gained significant attention last year with the song ‘Saiyaara,’ continues to build momentum with this collaboration.
Chand Mera Dil stars Ananya Panday and Lakshya in lead roles. Lakshya has recently drawn attention for his performance in the action film Kill and Aryan Khan’s directorial venture The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. The film is directed by Vivek Soni, who is known for his earlier work on the Netflix film Meenakshi Sundareshwar.
